Local authorities on music history, the Timmons Brothers, John and David, will emcee  a program on the changing pop/rock music scene in America from 1968 to 1973. The program will begin at 11:30. Prior to the start of the program, bring your collectibles and memorabilia from the era to display. Time permitting, John and David will assess the value of your items. The program will be held in the meeting room of the Mt. Sterling Public Library, 60 W. Columbus Street. Activities will begin at 9:30 and conclude at 1:00 on October 18, 2014. The program is hosted by the Mt. Sterling Community Museum.

October “Around Town” Book Club meets will carpool to Deer Creek campfire…come early!

The “Around Town” Book Club’s next meeting will take place one week early, and meet 1/2 hour earlier at the library on Thursday, October 23 at 6:30 PM.  We will then carpool to the Vincent’s campfire at Deer Creek, where we will review our “spooky” book of the month over a campfire with scary treats.  Everyone is encouraged to dress in costume as an OPTION.  […]

October Ladies Night Out Movie

The October Ladies Night Out event is Monday, October 27 at 6:30 PM.  Enjoy comfortable seating, and share in this monthly potluck event.  Fun, food, and door prizes are a staple of this FREE event for adult women of all ages!  No pre-registration required.  Just show up with a dish to share!
