Tax Forms at the library - Due to cutbacks at both state and federal levels, this year public library's are limited to a few basic forms readily available for the public to pick up. Copies of federal forms 1040, 1040A, and 1040EZ are available to the public while in supply. However, there are no instruction booklets from the IRS readily available for public distribution. Patrons will be permitted to print up to 10 pages of tax forms at no cost from the patron computers, with a discounted cost of .10 cents per page for additional printing of any income tax documents. All other printing is still available at .20 cents per page. Federal tax forms and instruction manuals can be accessed to read online or print at www.irs.gov. To have copies delivered free of charge by mail, patrons may call the IRS at 1-800-829-3676.
