November-December ‘Around Town’ Book Club Meeting

***For our December meeting, please bring a wrapped, used, favorite book of yours to exchange for our first white elephant book exchange.  A game will be played and the winner will receive a prize.

The November/December  ‘Around Town’ Book Club will meet at the Deer Creek Lodge in the lounge on  Thursday, December  7.  If you need to follow or carpool please let our staff know to put your name on a list with contact information, and be at the library BY NO LATER THAN 6:30 p.m. This is a half hour before our regular start time.  Snacks and drinks will be served at this meeting. We will be reviewing  ‘A Redbird Christmas’, by Fannie Flagge, famous author of ‘Fried Green Tomatos’.  This is a co-ed group that meets once a month at a different location “around town”.  A non genre specific club, we read everything from general fiction, romantic fiction, historical fiction, inspirational fiction, western fiction, non-fiction, memoirs, biography and auto-biography, Young Adult, etc.  A fun literary or reading game/activity is played after the book discussion and a prize or two are given out every month.  There are no membership fees. Join in the fun!
