JACHOMYER BALDWIN, son of Jonah and Mary Bland Baldwin. Their land was the Baldwin & Wallace survey. His sister Nancy married Benjamin Corson.

DAVID BEALE, son of S.S. and Harriet Elmore Beale. David farmed with his father two miles from Mt. Sterling on the Columbus Road. He wed Hannah A. McClintock. Children: Flora A., Everett and Ross.

BENJAMIN F. COOK, son of Isaac T. and Elizabeth Lewis Cook, wed Fannie J. Bennett. There was one son, Benjamin F., Jr. Mr. Cook spent his life farming and stock raising. He served Co H, 60th Regt OVI during the Civil War. He was captured by the enemy but was paroled in 1862.

MATTHEW S. COOK, senator and surveyor. He wed Ellen Tiffin, daughter of the first governor of Ohio, Edward Tiffin. Children: Mary, Margaret, Edward, Thea, Matthew S., Lucy, Maria, Ellen and William. Their daughter Lucy became the wife of R.B. Hayes, 23rd governor of Ohio and 19th president of the United States.

JONAH B. CORSON, farmer, is son of Benjamin and Nancy Baldwin Corson. He farms and has a legitimate trade.

ALEXANDER GRIM, farmer, is son of Jonathan and Betsey Long Grim. He wed Elizabeth Cochran. Children: Mary Ann, Susan, Margaret and John. Betsey died and Alexander wed Jane Dick. Children: William, Charles, Martha J., An, Jacob W., James M., Laura Alice and Evan.

JOSEPH S. HARRISON, farmer, is son of John J. and Cynthia A. Shuffleberger Harrison. Joseph's grandfather was Batteal Harrison. This Harrison family is directly related to William H. Harrison, 9th president of the United States. Joseph wed Margaret Fulton. One child: Nellie.

PETER LOHR, farmer and produce dealer, wed Elizabeth Corson, daughter of Richard and Mary Baldwin Corson. Children: Mary J., Clara A., Richard C., Martha A., John R., Rosetta B. and Ardessa M.. Peter bought a farm in 1862 of 100 acres near the village of White Oak.
