Through the efforts of long time resident and respected civic leader Mary Lou Stiverson, a complete history of Mount Sterling and the surrounding area is being compiled on this site. Countless hours of research and narration by Ms. Stiverson has led to one of the most educational and interesting sites of its kind. From our founders page to the Civil War to our WW1 roster, each page is rich in text and photos. Our Genealogy page lists Pleasant Cemetery as well as other local cemeteries. If you or someone you know graduated from Mount Sterling High School , class, sports and school photos from 1884 through 1942 can be found on this page.
