Welcome New Library Director & Fiscal Officer

Mt. Sterling Public Library Board of Trustees are pleased to announce the newest staff additions. The board appointed Steve Brindza as Library Director and Jeremy VanMeter as the new fiscal officer. The board was especially intent on choosing a good fit for both positions. Mr. Brindza came on board February 1st to replace the former director. Mr. VanMeter already jumped into his new role in early January with some additional training given by outgoing fiscal officer Abbie Riley. Riley has been training side by side with Jeremy for a seamless transition. With the library building re-opening the new director of the library looks forward to meeting our patrons in person.

In addition to the new employees announced, the board also re-elected officers for the 2021 year as follows:

Vice President Andy Drake

Secretary Joyce Stuart

Our previous officers are remaining as board members. All other board members remain in place.
