Registration Opens Mid-January for the Next Kids Cooking Classes in February
Our Batters, Splatters, & Platters Kids Cooking Club learned all about different fruit, made fruit kabobs, pj&J pockets, and a type of pizza muffin called a lunch biscuit. The group is seen here proudly showing off their fun creations. Front row: Isaac Leonard, Grace Gammel, Becca Brown, and Jacquelyn Nelson. Back Row: Skyler Nelson, Ace Wyatt, Harper Pettey, and Izzy Pettey.
Registration for the next group will be open from December 15-30th. The classes begin in January.
We are happy to announce this class is FULL! We have 12 participants and cannot accept more at this time. Keep posted for another class to return in early 2023. Until then, stay tuned to keep up on the activities this current class will be doing.
Running until November 22nd, our popular Batters, Splatters, & Platters Kids Cooking Club is back! Kids between the ages of 5 and 8 years will learn beginner skills such as measuring, following a recipe, mixing ingredients, and other cooking techniques. The class begins at 6:00 p.m. and ends at 7:30 p.m.
Every second and fourth Tuesday for 6 weeks, the group will meet in the library community room on the library’s lower level. All supplies will be provided. Pre-registration is required by calling the library at 740.869.2430.
Please call and ask for Sharon for more details or with any other questions.
