Monday June 27th mark our final Family Storytime of this season. A fun time was had by all!! Our Theme was ” Trash to Treasures ” building on using things to new things.  We read Rose Revere Engineer by Andrea Beaty  Illustrated by David Roberts, The Dumpster Diver by Janet S. Wong Illustrated by David Roberts. We also read, as our bonus books,

The New LiBEARian by Alison Donald Illustrated by Alex Willamore and The Little Mouse, and The Red Ripe Strawberry and The Big Hungry Bear by Don and Audrey Wood Illustrated by Don Wood.

Our Make and Take Project for this week was using Toilet paper, paper Towel rolls and other miscellaneous items to make a Recycled Village.  Rolls , paper and glue dots, along with instructions were provided. We suggest that pictures of their creations be taken and sent to and then will be printed out and put up around the Children’s area.

This Summer Reading Storytime had 100 participants over 3 weeks this year.  Storytime will now be on hiatus until the second Monday of September, when we will start another season of Preschool Storytime.
