Library Building OPEN for YOU, Curbside Services Still Available Option

The Mt. Sterling Public Library building continues to be open to the public for our regular hours. While we allow the option of wearing a facemask, it is not mandatory. However, following the guidelines set forth by the Ohio and Madison County Public Health Departments, we strongly encourage everyone regardless of vaccination status to continue to wear their facemasks in our building. We continue to suggest social distancing wherever possible, and we ask that if you have been ill recently or have a runny nose, fever, sore throat or other similar cold, flu, or sinus symptoms that you please do not enter the library until your symptoms have cleared up. We will continue to provide hand sanitizer and ask that everyone practice good hand hygiene. We will maintain keeping our high touch surfaces disinfected. To remain open to the public we need your help to stop the spread of Covid-19. We thank you for your patience, kindness, and understanding in these challenging times. We are proud that we have been able to stay open for our community for most of the pandemic.

Curbside service remains an available service to those that prefer. It requires a call ahead to prepare your items. A yellow tote will be placed outside for your convenience. Instructions will be provided when you call the library to pick up your items.

As always, keep checking the library website and social media for further updates or changes of our status of availability to the public.

The library will follow these guidelines:

*Face masks are optional. We have some donated face masks for those without.

*Social distancing is still suggested whenever possible.

*We offer lots of hand sanitizer stations throughout the library.

*We have installed new touchless bathroom fixtures for convenience and a more sanitary experience.
