Preschool Storytime Returns

Preschool Storytime is a program for children ages 3-5 years and features a theme of age-appropriate storybooks and crafts or activities each week.  We focus on early literacy and fun!  Held Mondays at 10:30 a.m. except for holiday or school closures. An elevator is available for anyone and is helpful to those with strollers. No registration is required.

Our regular Preschool Storytime  of the 2024/2025 academic calendar came to a close until fall . From September to May , we have read many books  and created lots of crafts. In the fall , we read  about owls  and scarecrows, observed Fire  Prevention Week , held a Halloween  party, and celebrated Thanksgiving  with our traditional meal. In December, we recognized holidays and other winter  themes. After a break in January, we came back with Valentines  and a guest reader of Fairytales and we celebrated Dr. Seuss and Eric Carle. We had our annual Easter  party and egg hunt and have made many wonderful friends, having lots of fun along the way. We even potted plants  for Mother’s Day. We made mini pizzas  to celebrate our last Storytime and read some funny books. 

Thank you to all of the families who participated in our Storytimes those 8 months! We will return again on September 8 and look forward to creating more memories with you.
