Video Gaming Event Was Popular & Tons of Fun

Saturday, July 30 from 12 noon to 4:00 p.m. we had a great group of teens and tweens participate in our first Video Gaming Event. They thoroughly enjoyed our first Video Gaming the event featuring the gaming systems of Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and N64. Open to teens and tweens ages 10 and up, the group came to play, socialize, enjoy lots of snacks and sodas. Our event host was Ray Reece, a former Paige at Mt. Sterling Public Library in his high school years. We want to give a huge SHOUT OUT and Thank You to Ray for volunteering his time to host, creating fun gaming challenges throughout the afternoon providing prizes and chips, supplying the equipment and second big screen, controllers, and gaming systems. Another big Thank You to our Friends of the Library group for providing all the rest of the snacks and TWO gift cards for $50 each to GameStop! The library provided all the cold drinks.
