Summer Reading Tails & Tales Program Kicks Off June 14

Mt. Sterling Public Library’s Summer Reading 2021 program theme is Tails & Tales. Open to children and adults of all ages, you can pick up reading logs any time at the library and begin turning them in beginning June 14. The Summer Reading program will go through July 24. Several events are scheduled throughout Summer Reading. Set a goal and start reading now and record your logs at home to bring in on June 14! Graphic novels and audio books count towards your goal. Your first 10 items on your first log will earn you a back pack of goodies, while supplies last. Every log turned in after that will give you one more opportunity to win in the drawings. This year we have an adult grand prize of a Kindle Fire. There will be children’s Kindle Paperwhites with ear buds grand prize awarded to a boy and a girl , and also a $100 gift cards for children. Among our sponsors are MCR Medical, Madison Health, Honey Run Farm, Chase Bank, Donatos of WCH, LeElla Lanes of WCH, The Dairy Freeze, Roller Haven of WCH, Mt. Sterling Friends of the Library, and Judy and David Lucas.
