The next Around Town Book Club meeting has been moved up by two days to Tuesday, October 28 at 7:00 p.m. at the Mullen residence, located at 101 Autumn Haze Ct., Mt. Sterling. The book of the month for October will be your choice between the titles of The Housemaid, by Frieda McFadden, AND/OR Mexican Gothic, by Sylvia Moreno-Garcia. Copies are available for check out right now at the library for those planning to attend. Refreshments will be served, and a fun activity will result in a prize winner. Open to men and women of all ages and for the serious and casual readers.
New members are always welcomed and there are never any dues to join. This is a diverse group of people of different ages with a variety of backgrounds, careers, and life stages across 6 decades. Open to men and women, the group reads a variety of genres to keep it fresh and take requests from the members. Meet at a different location every month, discuss books, play games, enjoy refreshments and have fun!
