Summer Reading Challenge Ends July 13
The 2024 Summer Reading Program is open to everyone of all ages including adults. Our SRP offers events, activities, and programs, and FUN prizes and drawings. It’s the “Reading Program” where you read for prizes!
There is no registration for the Mt. Sterling Public Library’s Summer Reading Program, titled “Adventure Begins at Your Library!”, which begins on June 1st.
All programs are free of charge.
Reading for Prizes:
- Come by the library and pick up a designated bookmark at the front desk to get started and to keep track of your reading time this summer.
- After you read, log each 20 minutes by filling in a star on the bookmark.
- When you have filled up your first reading bookmark, bring it to the library to claim your prize.
- Every bookmark with the reading stars filled in earns you more opportunities to win another prize.
Our Summer Reading Program will run for 6 weeks from June 3 through July 13. Stop in and pick up your reading bookmarks now. eBooks, graphic novels, books read to a child, picture books, and audiobooks are all accepted) you will receive a fun prize! For every reading log completed with 10 items after that you will be entered into a drawing for more prizes. Throughout the summer we will have many programs offered for kids and families to enjoy as part of our Summer Reading Program (SRP). These and the prizes are all made possible by our sponsors.
